Abstract

Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis (EPF) was first defined by Ofuji et al. In 1970. It consists of recurrent crops of pruritic follicular papules and pustules. It shows circinate or annular distribution on face, trunk and upper extremities.
Histolopathologic feature of EPF is characterized by follicular infiltrates with numerous eosinphils.
We present a case of EPF in a 39-year-old male who had pruritic papules and pustules and plaques on the face, trunk, arms. Histological examination of a biopsy specimen from the back and face showed hair follicles and sebaceous glands infiltrated
with
mixed inflammatory infiltrates composed of numerous eosinophils and neutrophils, characteristics of EPF.
